Who is PureFacts?

Every fintech has a “we started in a garage” story. When asking Who is PureFacts, you should know ours starts in the back offices of Tier-1 banks.

In the early 2010s, PureFacts was a services-heavy firm helping large Canadian banks solve some of their ugliest fee-billing problems. These were not side projects. They were mission-critical systems that had to withstand regulatory scrutiny, scale with growing AUM, and keep advisors and clients confident that every dollar was handled correctly.

Those early years taught us two things:

  1. Revenue is far too important to be left to spreadsheets and point solutions.
  2. If you can get billing right for the most demanding institutions in the world, you can help a lot of other firms sleep at night.

By 2015, we made a deliberate shift. Instead of building one-off custom systems, we started to productize what we had learned into a unified, repeatable fee-billing engine. We standardized on Azure, focused on enterprise-grade deployments, and built what eventually became the PureFees product line.

From there, the story is one of steady expansion:

    • 2015–2020 – Fee billing leadership
We grew from a project firm into a recurring revenue business, refining our platform with each new Tier-1 implementation and building a reputation for accuracy and delivery at scale.
    • 2020–2023 – Global expansion
We acquired Xtiva in the U.S., adding enterprise-grade compensation capabilities, and Quartal in Europe, deepening our fee-billing leadership and footprint in asset management. Those moves allowed us to support more of the revenue lifecycle, from billing to payouts, across multiple regions and client types.
    • 2024 and beyond – Revenue management platform
We launched PureRevenue, an AI-enabled platform that unifies billing, compensation, and analytics, and partnered with GrowthCurve Capital to accelerate our go-to-market and product roadmap. We added PureInsights to bring revenue visibility and predictability to executives who want to manage revenue as a true strategic asset.

Today, PureFacts supports more than 130 clients in 11 countries, with over $15 trillion in AUM on platform, 200 million transactions processed annually, and more than 72,000 advisors compensated through our systems. Our customers include leading banks, wealth managers, asset managers, and asset servicers around the world.

What has remained consistent throughout this evolution is our philosophy that revenue operations deserve the same rigor as portfolio management or risk oversight. In complex financial institutions, billing and compensation are not back-office utilities. They are strategic control points that influence growth, advisor behavior, client trust, and enterprise valuation. By consolidating fragmented systems into a unified revenue architecture, firms reduce operational risk, improve transparency, and create the agility required to launch new products and pricing models with confidence. This perspective continues to shape our roadmap as we invest in automation, AI-driven analytics, and scalable infrastructure designed for institutions that cannot afford approximation in any part of the revenue lifecycle.

Underneath those numbers, though, we are still the same at our core:

    • Specialists in complex, regulated environments.
We build for organizations where a five-basis-point miss can erase a meaningful share of profit and where regulators, boards, and clients expect precision.
    • Partners, not just vendors.
Our best work has come from long-term relationships where we co-design solutions with clients and, increasingly, with partners who bring complementary capabilities in consulting, integration, and change management.
    • Focused on the revenue lifecycle.
We believe there is enormous untapped value in managing revenue holistically, from how fees are designed, calculated, and collected, to how compensation and insights flow back into the business.

If you are exploring a partnership with us, this is the backdrop: a company that grew up solving hard revenue problems for some of the world’s most demanding institutions and has since evolved into a global revenue optimization platform provider. We know how to live in the details, but we never lose sight of the strategic impact: helping firms grow faster, more profitably, and with more flexibility by treating revenue as a system, not a by-product.
